Hi everyone, Emily here.  I have found the support from this page so overwhelming and it has really pushed me on to reach my original target of 17 laps before the 24th.  I have decided to push myself a bit further and now am aiming to complete a lap without my walker.  This will be an even greater challenge for me to complete.

My name is Emily.

I tested positive for COVID on the 15th September 2021, I was poorly and also couldn't move properly without being in constant pain.

I now have long COVID and have been severe pain for 3 months and am relearning how to walk again.  I spent 14 nights in hospital where the doctors and nurses were very puzzled as they did not know what was wrong with me they were really supportive and after lots of tests concluded that this was the result of COVID.

To thank them I am determined to raise money for the NHS Charities Together by completing 17 laps around my garden between 1st December and Christmas eve to represent the 14 nights I spent in hospital and the 3 months I have been battling.
