*back again for 2021!*
Hopefully I’ll manage to run in actual London this time?!

It seemed like a good idea to apply at the time..! We all know I'm not a 'proper' runner, so this will be the biggest challenge of my life. I'm terrified and excited in equal parts!
This journey has been a rollercoaster, I only started running in January 2018, with my marathon place confirmed 8 months later in August. While training I broke my foot in January 2019 and had to defer my marathon place to London 2020- I am so determined to get to that start line!
I chose Diabetes UK because I've seen first hand how this long term condition affects people's lives on a daily basis. I spent 3 years working to improve diabetes care on the Isle of Wight and across Wessex and hopefully now I can help people living with Diabetes throughout the UK by raising vital funds for DiabetesUK!
