We will be doing a sponsored walk from Windy Nook to the Millenium Bridge in Gateshead which totals 6.3 miles in total. Some of us are not used to walking and a bit unfit so this will not be easy! 

Our 4 year old daughter Emily has benefited from regular Speech and Language Therapy and Physiotherapy Therapy for the past year from Heel and Toe. Emily was on the waiting list for Speech therapy from the NHS for 2 years and has had 6 sessions from them recently and has been now been discharged even though she requires further therapy. She is still on the waiting list for Physiotherapy to support her with difficulties with low muscle tone and has been on the waiting list for over 2 years now.

She has sessions in school every week and they make a huge difference to her communication skills and continues to help improve her confidence and self esteem so that she can communicate with her friends at school. It’s helped so much with the clarity of her speech too. The staff at Heel and Toe are amazing and we will forever be grateful for the support that she receives from this amazing charity.
