Story
We’re Emily and Sam. We have both recently (pre covid!) turned 21. Emily wanted do something spontaneous and challenging during her 21st year, so what better than Strictly St Leonards, with Sam by her side making memories.
Both of Emily’s Grandads received care and treatment at the Hospice before they passed away, so her family have experienced first hand the amazing work that goes on.
In Emily’s spare time she is a Brownie Leader, so having this opportunity to show her Brownies’ that everyone can achieve anything, if they do their best and think of others.
Back in 2019 Sam completed a charity boxing match for Cancer Research, so he thought he'd fulfilled his charity work for a few years. But how wrong was he! Emily had to do a lot of persuading to get Sam on board with Strictly. But the thought of busting some moves for a local charity, the opportunity to wear a sparkly shirt and doing something different together changed his mind!
We are both looking forward to the challenge of learning a new skill and having a bit of friendly competition!
