We raise awareness & fund research to make SUDC predictable and preventable

Story

On 22nd May last year, the world became a darker place when our dear friends’ little boy Benjamin went to sleep and didn’t wake up. He had turned 2 only three weeks before, celebrated the weekend he left us with his big brother Seb, his cousins, his little friends Rupert and Lucy, and other special friends and family. It was a weekend full of so much love before the unthinkable happened. He had so much more to give to the world.

On 21st May this year, Mum (Lisa) and I will be running the Worcester 10k to remember Benjamin and to be part of something really positive on what will be an otherwise very tough weekend. Some of Benjamin’s family and our friends will also be running the 10k, half marathon and marathon to raise money for SUDC UK;  the charity who support families like Benjamin’s in the darkest of times and who are working tirelessly to promote awareness and fund research into how and why tragedies like SUDC (Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood) can happen.

Thank you for reading and supporting such an important cause. For Benjamin John Trahearn 💛 x
