Story
It is a sad fact of life that all of us, throughout some point of our lives, will experience the loss of someone close to us.
St Barnabas House Hospice provides dignity, respect and support to the terminally ill and friends and familes involved. Patients and family are never charged for the help they receive that is why our fundraising is crucial.
We have decided to walk the Great Wall of China in October 2010 to help rebuild the hospice.
There are 44 people, including us, taking part in this challenge and we hope to raise enough money to enable us to pay for a patient's bedroom at the new hospice. Eachbedroom will have an en-suite, telephone, internet, state of the art tracking and hoist. This will offer patients more privacy and dignity than ever before.
With hours of hard work, physical and mental training about to begin we are 100% sure that this trip will be a success and we will both complete the walk. We are confident that we can exceed the target of £5,700... WITH YOUR HELP!
