Story
In early May we said goodbye to our lovely Dad. We were able to do this in the family home where our Dad chose to be in his final weeks. This would not have been possible without the support of the amazing Sue Ryder carers who came in twice a day to ensure he was comfortable and his needs were met. Each day they greeted him and the family with a smile, words of support and listened to our concerns. Dad was always treated with dignity and kindness.
We would not have been able to fulfil Dad’s wish of being at home without these wonderful people, so we would like to say thank you and give back to this wonderful charity. We would like other families to be able to receive the same care and compassion that we did in the most vulnerable time
We wanted a challenge - Emily said 10k, Joanna said no we need more of a challenge. Emily suggested a MARATHON, Joanna said NO WAY! So we split the difference- a half marathon. We will be running the Cheltenham half marathon on Sunday the 4th of September. We have 2 months to prepare and raise our target so if you would like to support us that would be fabulous!
Lots of love
