10,500 people in the UK have ataxia which is a progressive neurological condition that disrupts the messages sent from our brains to our muscles that are used to move, speak, listen and see. Ataxia UK funds research into finding treatments and a cure and provide support until they are found.

Story

On July 30th I'll be climbing Ben Nevis to raise funds for Ataxia UK. This is a fantastic charity which is very close to me and my family.

Ataxia is a type of neurological condition that affects balance, speech, and co-ordination. Ataxia is progressive, meaning it gets worse with time, until people become entirely dependent on others for all their needs. Over 10,000 people in the UK have ataxia and there is currently no cure. In the last five years, the charity have spent over £3 million on research into possible treatments and cures for ataxia.

Please donate as much as you can to help me reach my target - even £1 makes a difference!

Lots of love and eternal gratitude in anticipation of your generosity you lovely lovely people,
