St Luke’s is an adult Hospice that cares for people from mid and south Cheshire suffering from cancer and other life threatening illnesses.

They are a non-profit making organisation, funded by voluntary contributions and the local Primary Care Trust.  They offer treatment, care, advice and support to many seriously ill people and their families every year.

In 2011 it cost almost £3.16 million to run St Luke's.

The overwhelming majority of this money (81%) was spent on patients and patient care. This reflects in a very real way the St Luke's philosophy that the patients come first.

72% of the money to keep St Luke's running has to raised from the public in one form or another.
