We help stroke survivors to find strength through support.

Story

On Christmas Day, 2010, my mother suffered a large stroke in the basilar artery in her brain. She survived only two weeks before passing away, and is very sorely missed. Having lived a perfectly healthy life beforehand this was very unexpected. I will be competing in the Manchester 5k run on March 13th and would like to raise as much money as possible in donation to the stroke association, to help those who are in need of recovery and those of whom as a result have permanent disabilities. In doing so I would like the memories of my mum to live for as long as possible, for there are many that not only I share with her, but also my sister Catherine, and my father.
