Hi there!

We are a group of student volunteers from Loughborough University supporting the amazing charity CALM Africa who run a school near Kampala, Uganda that we are going to volunteer at in Summer 2021. The children attending the school live in impoverished situations and the only way for them to escape this cycle is education.

We are going to help out the school for three weeks this summer, by helping with teaching, construction and community outreach. A large part of our volunteering will be helping the teachers with teaching subjects such as Reading, Writing and Maths, but also teaching the sensitive and taboo subject Sex Education.

As many children have been affected by Covid-19, it is now more important then ever to make an impact in their lives through a donation, no matter how small.
