Hi my name is Emily, I'm 19 and I've decided to do the half marathon in memory of my mum who me and my family lost 10 years ago. I have decided to do the marathon and raise money for the charity which is close to my heart. 

I lost my mum when I was 7 years old obviously I was very young and didn't understand. I have decided to do the marathon this year because me and my brothers are all doing it together. 

Even though I only had a short time with my mum, it was special and I still can remember some of the amazing memories she left me with. She was an amazing woman, who did so much so I'm going to finally give something back to her.
