Neighborhood House continues to listen to their clients. In the midst of the financial crisis, a large percentage of families remain unemployed. Parents are making the difficult choices in their budget for food, bills, and essential household items. One essential item that families continue to struggle to afford is diapers.
We live in a region that is powered by one-day deliveries and bulk purchases but the reality is that many people cannot afford and do not have access to this basic need. Diapers are NOT covered by WIC or SNAP (food stamps). Case managers are struggling to find resources in the community. We are asking for your help with this immediate need to get clean diapers to families who are most in need.
