Joan Frances Thomson was, to anyone else, my grandmother.....but to me she was way more than that, she was like a mother to me and it felt like my world crumbled when she suddenly passed away from a heart attack in May last year. My Joanie was a fighter all her life, having suffered from multiple strokes and heart related problems....no matter how hard things got for her, she never ever gave up- she fought!

So I have decided that I too will fight, I will fight my fears for the amazing woman who gave me everything a child could ever wish for, the woman who gives me the strength to carry on with my life like she would have wanted, to be the best mother I can be and as my way of saying thank you for everything, and maybe, hopefully, she will be with me on the day, giving me a helping hand along the way! 

Contributions to the charity were made at my Grans funeral last year, so what I ask is that once again, you please give even the smallest of contributions for an important and very relevant charity, and lets see just how much we can do!!! Every donation means the world to me!
