NHS Charities Together and its members across the UK are hugely grateful for the support received from so many since the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Story

Emily has been following the fundraising efforts of Captain Tom Moore who completed 100 laps of his garden before his 100th Birthday in aid of the NHS charities.

Emily has taken part in all of the Claps for Carers and we have been teaching her all about what the people who work in hospitals do and how long the hours they work are. To say thank you to those working so hard to keep us well Emily has decided that she’d like to run every day until her 5th Birthday on the 28th April 2020. We have found her a half mile loop to complete each day which will take her to 5 miles by the time she turns 5.

As many of you know we as a family have a lot to be thankful for when it comes to our health service over the years. Emily was our miracle IVF baby. Born nearly 6 weeks early and who has been looked after under our local hospital because of childhood asthma.

5 miles may not seem a lot to some of you, but when you only have little legs and we live on the top of a hill it’s quite a challenge for Emily. If you’d like to sponsor her and help her raid a few pounds for NHS charities together then she (and we) would be very grateful.
