Story

I've decided to run the Dublin Marathon on 28th October in aid of the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.

Some of you will know that a friend from Durham, Jimmy Higham, died of cancer in December 2011 at the age of 26. While being treated, he spent a significant amount of time at the Royal Marsden Hospital in Sutton. I therefore wanted to donate my fundraising to support the care of others in Jimmy's situation, and the pioneering cancer research done at the hospital.

I'd be really grateful for any contribution to this cause - it's a very worthy one in my eyes. Thanks for visiting, and wish me luck (I'll need it)!
