Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity.

Having been diagnosed with skin cancer in May 2016, I am approaching 1 year cancer free, following the removal of a malignant melanoma. I want to turn my experience into a positive one and encourage everyone to check their skin and be sensible in the sun.

I am grateful my skin cancer was caught early enough to allow me to now live my life to the full every single day!

About the charity

Melanoma UK was set up in 2007 in memory of Jon Herron. We support patients and families affected by melanoma (skin cancer) and funds raised help to provide that support. We are funding much needed melanoma nurses along with help in vital research. Melanoma is a cruel disease, still without a cure.
