Story

I am running for Bowel Cancer UK, a charity close to my heart, having in 2018 lost a close friend, Karl, to Bowel Cancer aged just 30. He fought with dignity and courage and I am honoured to be fundraising in memory of him and his inspirational battle.

Bowel Cancer is the 2nd biggest cancer killer and the 4thmost common cancer in the UK. Over 42,000 people in the UK are diagnosed with Bowel Cancer every year; that’s a new diagnosis every 15 minutes. It is more important than ever that Bowel Cancer UK raise as much money as possible to continue their amazing work supporting people affected by bowel cancer, campaigning for early diagnosis and access to best treatment and care, funding research as well as educating health professionals.

Every penny you donate will go to helping fund the amazing work Bowel Cancer UK does every day, supporting people like Karl, their families and the professionals involved in research, patient care and family support.

Thanking you in advance for your support and generosity.
