My Reason For The Sunshine Fund
The Chronicle Sunshine Fund is a North East charity that enhances the lives of disabled babies, children and young adults by funding life-changing equipment to meet their specialist needs. The charity is not funded in any way and relies on the generosity of individuals and organisations in the region to make a real difference to the lives of local children.
My Personal Experiance:
Although the charity is a huge part in why im running the GNR there is also one other person in my life who i am doing this 13 mile run for,(ekk!) My very special Niece Taylor Page.
Taylor is 13 years of age and has suffered with numerous illness's from birth including cerebral palsy however she has not let this stop her, she is a bright, bubbly and amazing little lady with the biggest heart and nothing will take the smile away from her beautiful face.
Unfortunately Taylor cannot walk nor talk which can be extremely difficult for her parent's as she requires full time care and attention. Taylor has one older brother, Ashton and one younger brother Mason who love her very much and help out where they can with supporting with her daily tasks, Luckily for Taylor her Mum and Dad are able to support her in all aspects of her life unlike some of the children from the Sunshine fund.
Taylor is a true inspiration to say the least, her passionate ways and big smile are the reason i am supporting this charity to enhance the lives of girls and boys just like my beautiful Niece.
