Story

The RNLI Castle 2 Castle Swim is an iconic one-mile open water sea swim across the Carrick Roads. It starts at the headland below Pendennis Castle in Falmouth and finishes on the beach below St Mawes Castle on the Roseland Peninsula. This event raises money to support the RNLI's volunteer lifeboat crews and lifeguards. We expect that 2023 will be one of the busiest years in the RNLI's 199-year history, so with the charity relying on the public's voluntary donations every pound raised will help to save more lives around our coast. The swim is a fantastic event largely run by volunteers, without whom it wouldn't be possible. It promises to be great fun with a fantastic atmosphere, so do come along and get involved.
