Hello my name is Emily and i am taking part in a toddle waddle to raise money for the Meningitis Trust. My big brother Charlie got meningitis when he was three months old and he died. I never got to meet him because he died before i was born but i've seen lots of photos and my mummy and daddy talk about him all the time. I want to raise money to help other people with meningitis and to stop this happening to anyone else.

I've been walking for six months now and i'm steady enough to try for this waddle. I'm training by walking round the living room and mummy says we can try laps in the garden when it's nice. I'm not aiming for a particular time but it would be nice to get a personal best on the day.
