Thank you for taking the time to visit the Facts International Tri-Team JustGiving page, set-up to raise money in support of Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance.

Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance is Facts International's official company charity, and keen to take the fundraising to the next level, a group of us from the Facts team have decided to get sporty for charity and push ourselves out of our comfort zones to take part in our first ever triathlon. 

Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance is a registered charity established to relieve sick and injured people in South East England and surrounding areas, by providing a Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) and Air Ambulance Service for the benefit of the community.

Each Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance is crewed by an experienced Pilot, Doctor and Paramedic, who are trained in advanced pre-hospital care, which gives them the knowledge and skills necessary to assess and stabilise critically ill and injured adults and children. This means that a number of specialist clinical procedures that are normally only available in the resuscitation area of an emergency department can be delivered to patients at the scene, such as, general anaesthesia, advanced pain relief and for a small number of patients surgical interventions. Effectively, what Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance try to do, is bring the emergency department to the patient and then take them quickly and directly by land or air to the most appropriate hospital best able to treat their injuries.

It is thanks to the generosity of the charity's supporters that the Air Ambulance has attended over 20,000 missions saving many lives and that it continues to be available to every person living, working and travelling in the Kent, Surrey and Sussex counties.

With this in mind any donation you can make, no matter how small, to help support this life saving cause and to ensure it is able to continue to save lives and provide vital care in Kent, Surrey and Sussex - would be hugely appreciated.
