Story

Archie and Joseph are raising money for the British Heart Foundation and we’d be so grateful for your support. This is a charity which means a huge amount to us as a family. As many of you know, in June 2019 Archie and Joe's dad died of heart failure. This loss left a massive hole in the boys' lives, as well as in the lives of all of the people who knew and loved their dad.

An estimated 7.6 million people in the UK are living with heart or circulatory diseases. Research done by the British Heart Foundations has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK. The charity's work really matters; it will hopefully reduce the number of people having to suffer a loss like ours.

It's only thanks to support from people like us that the BHF can create new treatments and discover new cures. £24 could pay for two hours of research by an early career scientist, but every pound helps.

Archie and Joe will be taking part in a swimathon run by their swimming teacher. Gary loved taking the boys swimming so this is a challenge he'd definitely have approved of! Archie and Joseph would be grateful for any sponsorship money you can spare.
