Treloar’s is a charity that provides an outstanding specialist school and college for physically disabled children and young people, helping them to be as independent as possible.

Story

This year I'm running the British 10k powered by Nike. I'm raising money for the school where I work. Treloar School in Hampshire is a boarding school for disabled children and young adults aged 7 - 25. Treloars has given these students the opportunity to express themselves and surpass their previously perceived potential.

Treloars offers students everything they need and want in relation, not only to their disability but also to them as young adults. Treloars, however like any school, needs the support of the community and from people like you who want to help make a difference to peoples lives who, else where, would never gain the same support as they do at Treloars. Your donation will go towards things such as physiotherapy equipment which may mean that a student who is usually wheelchair bound, can walk with assistance from new equipment for part of the day. Also for specialised sports equipment so students don't miss out on the pleasure of sports just because they're in a wheelchair.

Some of the disabilities we deal with are; Cerebral Palsy,Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, Autism, Spina Bifida and many more. Please donate. Coming from myself, who see's these kids everyday, they're the most determined and fun kids I have ever met and for some of them who have a shorter life span than other children, the time to act is now. Everything helps so please donate anything you can.
