Emily found a mole on her calf which was diagnosed as malignant melanoma when she was 17 years old. She went on to be treated at the Royal Marsden throughout her 8 year battle with cancer.

Despite all the hurdles Emily faced, she decided to share her journey with thousands of people through her vlogs, in the hope that more people would become aware of the seriousness of melanoma but more importantly to remind people that you can still live life to the fullest even whilst fighting cancer.

Emily has touched the lives of thousands of people from all across the world due to her courage, determination and most of all her continuous strength.

Emily taught so many people the importance of living life to the fullest.

Throughout her journey, the Royal Marsden has been extremely close to Emily's heart. They became a second family to Emily and supported her through the hardest times.
