Story

On 8th November 2022, surrounded by her heartbroken family, my Auntie - Helen Joslin (née Defroand) - sadly slipped away after a short yet courageous battle with Burkitt lymphoma.

Auntie Helen touched the lives of everyone that she met. Her selflessness and kindness never failed to amaze me. She always put others before herself and was unconditionally supportive, with a beautiful warm smile and a great big hug to match.

Auntie Helen was quite simply one of the very best. This is why, in her memory, I will be running the 2023 TCS London Marathon for Lymphoma Action. In doing so, I hope I can raise some awareness and funds for a very worthwhile cause.

Lymphoma Action is the UK’s only charity dedicated to Lymphoma - a type of blood cancer and the fifth most common cancer in the UK. Lymphoma Action works tirelessly to make sure that no-one faces Lymphoma alone by providing those diagnosed with vital information and support.

Any donation towards this special charity would mean the world to myself and my family. Thank you.
