I'm putting on my trainers after a long hiatus and taking part in the Purple Wave, to support Manchester's cancer research. 

So many of us have had our lives affected by cancer. That's why researchers in Manchester are working hard to improve cancer treatments and help more patients with cancer get back to normal life. Soon, Manchester will be opening a world-class research centre bringing new hope to people with cancer.
