Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page for RideLondon.

The Lily Foundation provide funding and critical support to families and children suffering from mitochondrial disease. Children born with mitochondrial disease suffer from challenging symptoms and face many hardships in their clinical care. Recently, the UK Parliament approved regulations to permit the use of Mitochondrial Donation in order to avoid the disease, and licenses for the process are now being looked at by the UK regulator. The Lily Foundation have provided guidance throughout this process and continue to drive the scientific developments forwards, towards treatments being available for families.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thank you for your kind support.
