Story
Your money matters. When you give to charities like Tearfund, it may feel like another drop in the ocean, but it is vital in helping people break free from poverty and allowing Tearfund to continue their work partnering with the vulnerable, reducing needless suffering and helping empower people to lift themselves out of poverty. God is calling all of us to play our part and bring an end to extreme poverty and injustice.
Tearfund are committed to making sure your donation has the biggest possible impact for those in greatest need. You can read more here about where your money goes: https://www.tearfund.org/get-involved/donate/where-your-money-goes. Your support really does make a huge difference to struggling families across the world.

I'm currently on a 6-week course called Emerging Influencers led by Tearfund, aimed at developing leadership skills in young people and equipping them to use their spheres of influence to challenge injustice and make a change.
I've been really encouraged at what God's been saying during the course and am really inspired by the work Tearfund are doing to end extreme poverty. I believe this goal is possible, and i'm asking for your help to raise money so Tearfund can continue helping those living in poverty, which is especially tough during the pandemic.
My grandma Carole and I are undertaking the 24 challenge in March to fundraise!
On the 28th of March, I will bake 24 things in 24 hours (if you're from Edinburgh, you could get a bake dropped off at your door!)
Carole, in all her 70-odd-year-old glory, is going to be walking AT LEAST 24 miles over 24 days in March! UPDATE: Carole has walked 104 MILES this month!!!!
We (with the help of Charlotte Clegg) have been busy baking bags of cookies that can be dropped off to you (or a loved one, just write the address). The suggested donation is £3 a bag.
The 24 challenge represents the 24 million people in need of humanitarian aid in Yemen. We are aiming to raise £1000, which can empower 770 households to lift themselves out of poverty by being taught new farming skills.
Any donation you would be willing and able to give will be so, so appreciated.
