Luke 'La Shay Shay' Shires & Em's Half Marathon!

Yes - your eyes don't deceive you...Luke Shires is running a half marathon to raise money for Cystic Fibrosis Trust! With 'mean machine' coach Em taking no excuses, Luke has been training hard, taking himself from a 'non-runner' to running 12km comfortably in a couple of months! He'll literally be out-running coach soon, but to complete a half marathon in less than two months time would be absolutely incredible!

To give that little extra motivation, we're raising money for Cystic Fibrosis - so please give every penny you have in support! Not only will it help out a close friend and an incredibly worthy charity, but it means Luke literally has no excuses...!

Em's Climb Up Mount Kilimanjaro

Hi one and all!

In Feb next year I will be flying out to Tanzania...not to relax on the beautiful beaches, not to experience the culture and food, no, in my crazed insanity I have decided to climb Mount Kilimanjaro to raise money for Cystic Fibrosis Trust!

In order to keep my place on the trip I need to raise a minimum amount of sponsorship of 3'500 pounds - a big target but something that would be fantastic to reach, one so that I can actually go on the trip and get lots of blisters, and two - so that I can raise lots of money to keep improving the research, treatments and drugs that CF sufferers rely on.

Knowing such a super amazing friend with CF, I really hope you can all dig deep into your pockets and give whatever you can, no matter how small, its all going to add towards the total and create a real tangible impact!

Be prepared for many organised events and fun nights out in aid of the target...!

Thanks so much for your interest in my mission guys and I really appreciate all the help and support!

Kate's Olympic Length Triathlon

On 12th September 2010 I turned 31 and, instead of knocking back a number of bottles of white wine to celebrate, I embarked on my first Olympic length triathlon in Reading and completed a 1500m swim in a dark and dingy lake, 46 km bike and 10 km run on undulating courses.  Ok, so it’s no Ironman but maybe I’ll do that next year and I would be really grateful if you could sponsor me so I can chip in towards supporting Emily in raising cash for the CF trust in support of my brother Sam.

Thanks everyone!

Kate
