Event: Virgin London Marathon 2014, on 13 April 2014

Story

After seeing my dad run the 2012 London Marathon, I felt I was left with no choice but to run it myself - a slight problem seeing as I'd never ran a mile in my life before this. Seeing the determination and perseverance displayed by him, I have to say, I was utterly inspired. And if it weren't for him, I would not be taking up this challenge. So cheers dad for getting me into this.

My only aim is to finish the London Marathon on two feet.

So now I have the opportunity to raise funds for an organisation close to my heart; The Countryside Alliance. Now, I ask for the support of friends and family.

I will be so grateful for any donation. Just the support means a lot!

About the charity

Many children and young people know little about the countryside and rural way of life. Its programme of educational initiatives will introduce them, and their teachers, to the beauty, importance and diversity of our rural heritage, inspiring them to become passionate about its future and protect it for future generations.
