Story

My name is Emily & It’s nice to meet you,
Im trekking the Sahara, can you help too?
There will be glitter, sequins & sparkles galore,
Il create the party, the first on the desert dance floor,
I’m a thrill seeker, hiker and ass shaker,
I love good cake but not a great baker,
I love singing, yoga & I’m Dancer,
But sadly last year I was diagnosed with cancer,
So now I have a new boob & a lot less hair,
A story I’m super passionate to share,
Shout from the rooftops to make others aware,
Of a little boob feel here & a tit squeeze there,
Can save your life as it did mine
So give this girl a chance for to shine,
This trip would be so incredible and surreal,
So Please Help me to trek for Coppafeel!!! 💜
2019 tested me in all sorts of ways, Lots of doctors, scans & hospital day’s,
My 30 before 30 list got put on hold,
But trekking the desert is my winning gold,
My mind is set with determination,
To send mu cancer to extermination,
I’ve got what it takes to come fly with Gi,
So if you think why should it be me?
Over the peaks, oases & dunes, I will keep morale going with my tunes,
A shoulder to cry on, or an ear to chew, Someone to laugh & dance with too,
Incredible Campfires under Africa’s starry night,To hiking the sand with the sun shining bright,
From surgery, radio & chemo sessions, Fertility, hair loss & lots of life lessons,
It’d be amazing to just grasp Adventure,
So let’s come together on this great venture
& raise mountains of money for this fabulous cause,
finish 100k to rounds of applause,
To show others that when life knocks you down, Lift up your head & wear your crown,
I’ve been assigned this mountain to show
others it can be moved,
If I can trek the desert this can be proved,
I hope my rap can seal the deal,
please donate for my trek for coppafeel 💜

Now for the serious bit ...
If it was not for coppafeel my future may look extremely different.
Last year at the age of 29 I was diagnosed with an aggressive Stage3c breast cancer that had spread to both my lymph nodes and supraclavicular nodes in my neck. In the last 6 months I have undertaken 8 rounds of dose dense Chemotherapy, a Mastectomy, A TUG reconstruction and the removal of 57 nodes.
But cancer can’t stop me.
If it wasn’t for Coppafeel I would not have known to regularly check my boobs and notice the lump in my breast and not be afraid to seek medical advice. Let’s be real, I OWE COPPAFEEL MY LIFE.

I am determined this year, even though I am still on treatment to give back and raise awareness as I want to ensure everyone has a chance to survive Breast Cancer.
So I’m off to the Sahara desert to trek 100km! Within the same year as life changing surgery and Chemotherapy that left me unable to even walk to the bathroom. Yep. It won’t be easy and I need all of your help!
