Story
I am taking part in the ‘Summit at Sunset’ to challenge myself whilst raising funds for our local Hospice at Home, in Carlisle & North Lakeland.
We will walk Blencathra (one of the highest peaks in the Lake District) on Friday 18th August, and we will descend after sunset.
Hospice at Home’s largest service is providing care and support to individuals and families to improve quality of life, facilitate a peaceful and dignified death and to support individuals and families through bereavement.
The support that this charity provided to one of my colleagues and her family is invaluable.
All of their services are free of charge to patients. This charity simply wouldn’t exist without the kindness of people making donations!
