Right To Play protects, educates & empowers children to rise above adversity. Using the power of play we help them stay in school, withstand exploitation, prevent disease and heal from war and abuse. We enable them to make positive choices, creating better futures for themselves and their societies.

Story

Thank you for coming along to this link. Training to date has been pretty good- last Sunday was my longest run before the race, and I managed 12.2 miles (in the dark and rain going around and around Regent's Park Outer Circle). I have a bit of an inflamed heel, it's just a niggle, but means I'm mostly wearing massive bright red backless clogs to Uni. I have been apologising to all the patients for how ridiculous they look! But, small price to pay, and I'm really looking forward to the race.

The charity I'm running for, Right to Play, is internationally renowned, working predominantly in developing countries and areas of social conflict. RToP uses sport as a medium to engage local communities, focussing on health promotion (including HIV transmission education), conflict resolution, and community values. So far over 1 million children have been involved in the programme. You can read more at www.righttoplay.com.

Thank you so much for any donations. £2 is £2 more to keep me going on the run.
