On Sunday 17th May I'll proudly be heading to Regents Park dressed as a Superhero to run 10k for The Mayhew Animal Home. 

I still haven't decided what Superhero I'm going to be, so all suggestions are welcome! 

As you know, The Mayhew Animal Home is a charity very close to my heart, they do fantastic work with local homeless and unwanted animals who are brought in, sometimes in such bad conditions. 

I'm lucky enough to have had first hand experience in watching them work their magic, restoring animals' faith in humans and finding them a forever home.

Just this weekend I found a stray chihuahua (main picture) in Brent and took him straight into The Mayhew. I knew he'd be in good hands. I'll be thinking of him whilst I'm running around in lycra, raising funds for his next meal and continued safe shelter.

Please give generously so I can go well over my £100 target!
