For over 40 years Phyllis Tuckwell has been supporting and caring for patients and families who have been given the worst possible news in West Surrey & North East Hampshire. We rely on the support of our community as we have to raise over £25,000 every day to continue our amazing services.

Story

I am running two different 5k runs this summer, one colour run and one obstacle colour run (who does not want to slide down a bouncy slide?!)

For those of you who know me well enough you know that my phrase has always been 'I don't run'.  However, I am putting this mantra aside for an incredibly worthy charity - Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice.  They have looked after three incredibly important people to me in the past - Aunt Mary, Arthur and most recently Aunt Diana.  The support that they give both patients and family during such tough and horrible times is immeasurable.

So for this reason I have got my running shoes (and legs) out.  I know I am not running far (people keep telling me it will be 'easy') but I would be grateful for the smallest donations (even pennies count!).

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
