ClientEarth is a pragmatic and very effective global law charity which aims to combat the now biggest threat to humanity, climate change, as well as pollution. It further works to enforce the protection of habitats, wildlife and natural resources. It is grounded in scientific evidence and works globally, employing expert lawyers who use the power of law in innovative ways. ClientEarth has already won three high court cases against the UK government over the last two years  to enforce measures to reduce pollution and  several other court cases in various other countries such as the US, Poland and Germany to prevent new coal powered plants and enforce restrictions on pollution / CO2-production. It also acts in an environmental advisory role to the Chinese government.
