Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving 

I am helping my very dear friend Ju to raise money for Dementia UK. Peter, Ju’s Dad was  diagnosed in 2021 with vascular dementia and dementia with lewy bodies. Both are progressive conditions that affect movement, walking, memory, speech, swallowing, sleep and every day activities. 

Peter is a true fighter and Ju is supporting him every day as best she can. 

Dementia UK has been so supportive as a charity, providing advice and emotional support from their wonderful admiral nurses and a host of information and practical advice.

Team Peter Miles aims to raise more than £1200 for Dementia UK. Ju, Elly and Sam will be putting their best feet forward to walk 52km of the Peak District on Saturday 8th July. 

We know it will be hard but we desperately want to help raise funds for people in the UK who are affected by dementia. By 2025, it is estimated that more than 1 million people will have dementia - it affects us all and we will all be touched by this tragic degenerative condition. 

Please give as much as you can for this incredible charity.
