On the 4th of July Live Well With Cancer received the keys to their new premises, 38 Nile Street in North Shields. "It is very nearly our perfect home! It has a lovely, welcoming cafe downstairs and a number of fantastic large rooms upstairs which are just perfect for our range of wellbeing workshops. Whilst the building is perfect, we will need to make a few changes to the interior to make it safe and functional for the community we support. So now the hard work really starts! We're sourcing funding to help buy new furniture and change the furniture. We'll also be giving the place a new lick of paint and will be trying to re-install the outdoor toilet to ensure we are as accessible as we can be." I'm taking on the 38 for 38 challenge, to try and raise £38 to help with the renovation of the building and would really appreciate your support in helping me reach that target.
