Story

My story:

In 2016 I lost my mum to cancer after fighting it for 4 years. The Royal Marsden is the reason it was 4 years and not 10 days. They treated her when another hospital gave up hope and over the years treated and brought my mum into remission so I was lucky enough to spend 4 more good years with her. I owe those years to the Royal Marsden so was thrilled when Managementors elected to support the charity in 2023.

To raise awareness and give back to the Royal Marsden for the remarkable work they have done, myself and a few colleagues will be climbing the national 3 peaks of the UK (Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon) in 24 hours. This is a physical and time-limited challenge involving 23 miles of climbing and 3064m of ascent.
