We support people living with HIV to help them live healthy independent lives

Story

Currently, over 100,000 people are living with HIV in the UK, 1 in 4 of these do not know they have the virus.

Fortunately, due to anti-retroviral therapy few people in the UK die these days from AIDS defining illnesses. Despite this, the virus is ever present in the lives of many, whilst transmission of the virus remains high.

HIV can have a range of physical, mental and social effects....and this is where the Sussex Beacon steps in, offering specialist care and support for men, women and families affected by HIV. Open 365 days a year, they do a fantastic job, helping people manage the everyday realities of living with this life-long condition through a variety of inpatient and outpatient services.

Please dig deep and donate generously to this great cause.
