Last month our very own Nishat Choudhury was diagnosed with an uncommon form of cancer called Hodgkin lymphoma that develops in the lymphatic system, which is a network of vessels and glands spread throughout your body.

There are, on average, 14,176 cases of non-Hodgkin and 2,100 cases of Hodgkin Lymphoma each year in the UK. Nish is around a month into her 6 month treatment cycle so we've had the idea to combine the two and try to achieve a group target of 16,276 Kilometres between now and the 21st June. We picked the 21st June as it is near the end of Nish's treatment cycle but it is also summer solstice which is the longest day of the year and is often associated with new beginnings and the climax of a journey - so we thought it apt.

Nish has chosen Macmillan as a cause as they have provided a wonderful support for her and her family during this challenging time.
