Event: Brighton Marathon 2018, on 15 April 2018
The best chance for a homeless person to get off the streets is with professional help. Making sure help reaches homeless people is far more effective than giving money to people on the street.

Story

I will be running the Brighton marathon on April 15th.

For those of our within earshot of me, the days of constantly hearing about my sore hip and legs are coming to a heed. You will be as relived as me when the marathon is finally over!

I wanted to use the event to raise money for homelessness in Brighton.

Money raised as part of this campaign will be shared between the charities: St Mungo’s, BHT, Nightstop, Equinox, Antifreeze, The Clock Tower Sanctuary, YMCA Downslink Group and YMCA Brighton.  All money donated will go directly to people sleeping rough and will be used to provide food, access to shower facilities, healthcare, clothing and support from outreach workers to move people away from the street as well as a wide range of practical help to suit individual needs. No funds raised will be used for administration of the charities.

Thanks for donating guys! Wish me luck
