Story

This summer I graduated from Lancaster University with a degree in Earth and Environmental Science, and will be starting my Masters at Newcastle University. As a rower and a runner I have always enjoyed the gruelling training leading up to the final race, and this time is no different, except this time I will be running for women everywhere.

I will be completing 2 runs, a short fun run on the 13th September, followed by the longer run on the 30th September.

I will be starting my run for Breakthrough Breast Cancer by completing a 2.2mi fun run at the Newcastle Business Park, then I will be running the main event: a half marathon in the gorgeous city of Newcastle, and I hope to raise money to help increase the profile of breast cancer whilst showing those close to me how much I want to help them.

My target of £100 should hopefully go some way to helping the one in nine women in the UK which will develop breast cancer during her lifetime.

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Breakthrough Breast Cancer will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.
