I hope you'll take the time to sponsor me today for a charity event that is very special to my heart. At the beginning of this year someone very special suddenly fell ill to cancer. This broke my heart to see my Nannie go through this, within weeks I had lost one of the most precious people in my life, coming to terms with something that doesn't feel real is the hardest thing in the world but the people helping you to do so is the greatest gift in the world. The support my Nannie received in her last weeks of her life was unbelievable, thanks Marie Curie and St BarnabasHospice. I hope you all take the time to sponsor what little you have which contributes a lot to many people battling cancer. I am running the 5K with my best friend Gemma who also lost her Grannie to Cancer at the end of last year - 2 months before I lost my Nannie. We are running together in memory of our lost Grandmothers who I know will be looking down on us as we carry on with the rest of our lives. Nothing will ever be the same, but our memories will always remain. <3
