Myself and a team of other volunteers will be heading out to Uganda in summer 2023 to assist with transforming an empty field at a local school into an exciting new playground, leaving a legacy for children to learn and develop essential life skills and nurture their physical, psychological and social development through the language they know best - play!

By donating to my fundraising page, you’ll be changing the lives of thousands of children by contributing to the building of a new playground at their school. Studies have shown that being able to play in a fun and exciting environment, such as a playground, during childhood increases our chances of graduating high school by 44%, and increases the chance of getting a bachelors degree by 17%. It increases future employability by 7x and raises earnings by 42%. All children deserve the right to the same chances and opportunities that we have, so why not be a part of this amazing project by donating or simply just sharing the link to my page.

£15 can provide a drum set so children can dance to their own beat

£30 can provide tyre animals to send children on an imaginative safari

£50 can provide a seesaw as part of the new playground

£100 can provide play-based sessions, increasing parent and child interaction

£1,000 can provide an adventure assault course for the children to run, jump and play
