Hi all! The secrets out now, so it’s definitely happening! This year, I will be running the London Marathon 2021. I was lucky enough to originally be awarded a ballot place, however recent events have inspired me to do something for one special charity so I will now be fundraising for RMHC.

I first met the beautiful Olivia at Langar when she was less than a year old. Olivia was born with a congenital heart condition, but even though she was very poorly, you would never have known when you met her because she was the smiliest, most vivacious, wonderful little girl! I was absolutely heartbroken to hear that Olivia passed away earlier last year after open heart surgery at just 5 years old.

I spoke to Olivia's amazing mum Aimee who told me about the Ronald McDonald House Charity and how special this charity was to her. The main aim of RMHC is to provide accommodation close to their child’s hospital and support for the families who go through the terrible experience of having a seriously ill child in hospital. It would mean the absolute world to me if you could spare some pennies and to help raise some money for such a great cause and for so many people - for Olivia and her legacy and to make sure that any other family who has to go through a similarly awful experience can have the same support and can remain together through some of the most challenging moments of their lives.
