4 days, 300 miles and probably a whole lot of saddle sores...
I'm cycling from London to Paris in order to raise money for a sustainable education project in Nicaragua run by Global Vision International. Having never done anything like this before, in order to complete the 300 mile ride I will be doing a lot of training over the next few months!
After spending a month in Nicaragua over the summer, teaching in a rural school, I am raising money to help with the sustainability of the project. This includes things like improving the school building, helping families in the community and helping to provide an education for the kids who all really deserve the chance to a decent childhood :)
Even the smallest donation can make a difference; the price of a pint can pay for fruit for a day for up to 200 students. The price of a nice meal in a restaurant can buy enough rice and beans to last two weeks for up to 200 students!
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

(p.s thanks to mum, alison, anna and brian for already donating, had to create a new page but your donations have still gone through :) x)
