Mental wellbeing affects us all and is one of the major public health challenges of this century. From children's mental health to how acts of kindness affect our wellbeing, our research is making cutting-edge discoveries and giving new hope.

Story

The word challenge can take many shapes or forms.

In 2019, I faced the biggest challenge of my life due to the loss of a very special person, and it's now my goal to raise money to fund research into mental health issues.

It is sheer coincidence that my University, the University of Sussex engages in groundbreaking research in mental health, so when the email dropped into my inbox to run a 10k and raise money, it was a no brainer.

I'm now kindly asking that you help me accomplish this challenge by donating to help fund and continue this vital research.

Thanks in advance, Ells xx

Sussex has challenged convention since our foundation in 1961. From modernist architecture on the edge of a rural national park, to our progressive academics and inspiring students, to the very tone of our conversations, our expressions of radicalism and critical thinking. We dare to be different.
