Story

I have decided to run The British 10k London Run, in aid of Stella Rogers who at just 17 months, was diagnosed with neuroblastoma (high risk), originating from her adrenal gland. At the time of diagnosis the cancer had grown to a huge size in her belly, which to treat has required 70 days of aggressive chemotherapy; major surgery to remove the primary tumour; a stem cell rescue that wipes out her bone marrow, three weeks of radio therapy and six months of oral chemotherapy. She has now developed liver problems as a result of this harsh but necessary regime. In spite of all this treatment, her chances of survival are low and a relapse is very likely, but an expensive antibody therapy costing £250,000 which is not currently available in the UK, will increase her chance significantly.

My mum knows this family personally as Stella’s 4-year-old sister currently attends her school. Everybody is doing everything that they can in order to keep Stella smiling! The family are relying on the generosity of strangers and hope that if everybody gave just a little, then Stella could be saved. To help Stella get that treatment, please do donate. Every single penny will help.

Please know that donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The 2Simple Trust - Stella Rogers Appeal gets your money faster and, if you’re a taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation. If you do not wish to pay via the internet then please email me on eframpton_fell@hotmail.com as I will also be collecting donations offline.

So please sponsor me now!
